Copperleaf Community Updates Fall 2019

Have you noticed the buzz of excitement in our neighborhoods lately? Growth is happening in Arapahoe County! Construction has begun on several new projects, and we’re ready to share the inside scoop on all our upcoming plans for late 2019 and 2020.

For Our Furry Friends and Nature Lovers

Copperleaf Community Trail System

We’re offering even more ways to soak in the beauty of our little part of Colorado by extending our trail system and opening a community dog park.

The new trails will join the northern and southern portions of our community, including access to Mountain View Elementary. These will also merge with the greater Arapahoe County Trail System, giving residents direct access to the miles of trails to enjoy.

Exciting developments are happening for the Copperleaf Bark Park! Our canine companions will soon enjoy a 1.5-acre off-leash fenced area to explore, run, and play. The Bark Park will be located near the intersection of Picadilly St. and Radcliff Parkway. Construction starts in spring 2020!

Do you live in the Oak Park Neighborhood? An expansive 2-acre residential park will start construction in 2020 near the new Richmond Homes in the Oak Neighborhood. The park will feature large grass areas, a children’s playground, and shade structures.

Copperleaf Community Senior Center

In the fall of 2020, we will welcome our first senior citizen residents to the new Copperleaf Senior Campus. The 170-unit apartment complex for folks aged 62+ will be situated on six acres near the corner of Copperleaf Blvd. and Quincy. This four-story complex will feature a beautiful pool, pickle ball courts, mini dog park, a craft room, family dining area, a state-of-the-art theatre and completely independent senior living opportunities .

Copperleaf is proud to announce that multi-family living is now coming to our community! We’re thrilled to welcome Grand Peaks Apartments to the Copperleaf family of builders. By late summer 2020, a new luxury apartment complex complete with clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and a mini bark-park, will be available at the intersection of Picadilly and Quincy.

You’ll also notice new home construction in the Alder, Oak Park and Pinyon Neighborhoods!

And, a Few New Businesses Too

Finally, you may have noticed commercial construction going on too! We’re proud to announce the addition of Everbrook Academy to our education system. The Pre-K facility will offer enriching daycare services on Copperleaf Blvd., just south of Quincy, and construction may begin as early as late 2019.

We’re also waiting on approval from Arapahoe County to confirm the name of a new retailer located near Starbucks on Quincy. We have our fingers crossed that it will be an automotive repair and service center to provide convenience to our local car-owning residents.

From the Bark Park to the addition of more nature trails and businesses, to new senior living and multi-family homes, we’re thrilled to not only provide what our community has asked for but to also welcome new friends to our beautiful surroundings.
