4th of July Activities in the Denver Metro

Get ready for extra cookouts, pool parties, fireworks and family fun! This summer, the 4th of July holiday falls on a Wednesday. Instead of one weekend of celebrations, there will be a full week of 4th of July activities to enjoy in the Denver area. Here’s a peek at what’s going on!

Independence Eve Fireworks

Head to Civic Center Park at Broadway and Colfax for the annual city celebration at 8:00 p.m.. Enjoy a free patriotic concert, light show on the Denver City and County building and the largest fireworks show in the area.

Park Hill 4th of July Parade

Set up some chairs along 23rd Avenue between from Dexter St. to Krameria St. in Park Hills to take in the floats, marching bands, costumes and classic cars during this holiday parade.

The city’s annual free culinary and performing arts festival will be taking over Cherry Creek North, from 2nd to 3rd Avenues, between Columbine and Steele streets. Don’t miss this three-day street party!
