GROUNDBREAKING OF ARBORETUM CLUBHOUSE AND REC CENTER AT COPPERLEAF
South Quincy Residential Developers announces that construction has now commenced on the Arboretum Pool and Clubhouse complex at its Copperleaf community. With 850 acres, Copperleaf is the last large parcel of land to be developed west of E-470 in unincorporated Arapahoe County.
“The Arboretum will offer recreational opportunities suited for family enjoyment,” says Richard Frank, vice president of South Quincy Residential Developers. The centerpiece of the Arboretum is a magnificent clubhouse designed in handsome Colorado Craftsman-style architecture. Wood beamed ceilings, stained concrete flooring, and a stone indoor-outdoor fireplace are a few of the many inviting features that will enhance its interior. Residents of Copperleaf will enjoy usage of the clubhouse for social functions. It features a top-of-the-line kitchen, several conversation areas, and a Library for smaller gatherings.
Other Arboretum amenities include a six-lane competition-size lap pool, resort-style Splash Garden kiddie pool, and a pool house with family and traditional changing rooms, first-aid station and other conveniences. With a unique twin leaf-shaped design, the Splash Garden pool has built-in water toys and a zero-edge entry ideal for younger children. In addition, the Arboretum complex will have an Overlook Terrace for conversation and relaxation, plus a multi-activity playground with a built-in shade structure and a separate sports court.
The grounds of the Arboretum will feature a variety of trees and other greenery, as well as aquatic-themed sculptures with interpretive signage courtesy of the Copperleaf Community Art Program. The grounds will tie in with the abundant landscaping found throughout the Copperleaf community. Approximately 10,000 trees will be planted along the many greenbelts, extensive trail system, and open space within the Copperleaf community.
Over 100 acres has been set aside for Copperleaf neighborhood parks, the regional trails, and other open space. Ten miles of trails will connect to Copperleaf parks, neighboring communities, several new Cherry Creek schools, the future Arapahoe Parks and Recreation District sports fields within the community, as well as the new Arboretum Pool and Clubhouse complex. “At Copperleaf, children will never have to cross a major thoroughfare to get to a park,” points out Frank.
Located at E-470 and Quincy, just west of E-470, Copperleaf offers homes from four of metro Denver’s well-known builders, including Beazer Homes, Capital Pacific Homes, Golden Design Group, and Richmond American Homes. Homes range in price from the mid $200’s to upper $500’s. For more information, please stop by the community or visit CopperleafCommunities.com.
